How to Use
Step 1: Prepare a clean, dry burner
- Before each use, check the inside of the burner to ensure no leftover ash or debris remains from previous use. Wipe it gently with a dry cloth to prevent the incense from carrying any unwanted scents.
- Keeping the burner clean helps maintain the purity of the fragrance and preserves the product’s durability and appearance.
Step 2: Prepare the incense and a heat resistant pad
- Use incense cones, coil incense, or pressed incense tablets based on your preference.
- Place a heat-resistant pad at the bottom of the burner to prevent direct heat from affecting the brass surface, which can cause discoloration or blackening.
- Avoid burning too much incense at once to prevent an overpowering scent or a stuffy atmosphere.
Step 3: Light the incense and place it inside
- Ignite the tip of the incense cone or coil until it burns evenly, then gently blow out the flame.
- Place the lit incense on the heat-resistant pad inside the burner, making sure there’s enough space around it for the smoke to circulate.
- Gently cover the burner with the lid. The perforated decorative design allows the smoke to flow out slowly, creating a mystical and soothing visual effect.
- Place the burner on a heat-resistant surface such as a wooden tray, ceramic base, or stone slab in a clean, ventilated area like an altar, living room, meditation space, bedroom, or workspace. Avoid placing it near flammable objects like paper, curtains, or tablecloths.
Step 4: Clean after use
- Once the incense has completely burned out, allow the burner to cool down fully before cleaning.
- Remove any leftover ash from the heat pad or sand to prevent buildup, which could affect future use.
- Periodically, wipe the burner’s surface with a soft cloth and use a small brush to clean the carved details, preserving its shine and intricate craftsmanship.
